The incident took place 7:18 p.m. Tuesday at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks when state police were called to the airport for a minor disturbance on an incoming flight, state police said.

While being interviewed by police on the jetway, Wilson, 45, of Tennessee, "became belligerent towards the troopers," and caused a disturbance, the police report said.

She was charged with breach of the peace and given a $1,000 bond and is expected to face a judge Wednesday.

Wilson, who is currently on tour, has had 13 singles on Billboard's Country chart and is known for her No. 1 hit, "Redneck Woman." Her first album, "Here for the Party," sold more than five million copies.
